Job summary

Temple Physicians Inc. seeks a Patient Services Representative (Full-time, 40 hrs/wk) to manage preregistration, insurance verification, and scheduling at Chestnut Hill Cardiology.

You will greet patients, answer calls, and support a seamless patient experience in a fast-paced setting. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am–5pm, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and courteous communication with patients and insurers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 2 years experience in a secretarial or clerical/general office position Required
• 1 year experience in a healthcare setting Required

Responsibilities

• Complete preregistration, re-registration and/or re-verification following department procedures
• Identify, verify, and document insurance coverage for scheduled services
• Contact patients, schedulers and insurance companies by telephone to obtain accurate information
• Perform front desk and scheduling duties; answer phones and greet patients
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor to support a positive patient experience
