Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Patient Access
• General experience with and knowledge of insurance requirements, insurance verification, and 3rd party billing

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule appointments, maintain accurate demographic and insurance data.
• Accept, record and verify insurance information and preauthorization requests.
• Collect copays and account balance payments and scan documents into EMR.
• Provide courteous customer service and clerical support to the department.
