Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and referrals using scheduling systems.
• Verify insurance benefits and estimate patient responsibility.
• Process payments, deposits, and preliminary billing tasks.
• Register patients with accurate biographical and financial data.
• Handle insurance processing, denials, and follow-ups.
• Communicate with departments for special requests and emergent cases.
• Explain procedures and preparation to patients prior to visits.
• Maintain compliance with safety, privacy, and organizational policies.
