Tucson Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access Services Representative for the TMCH Cancer Center Green Valley. You will handle scheduling, insurance verification, patient registrations and billing tasks to support smooth clinical operations.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and ability to communicate with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure accurate financial and clinical information is documented and processed efficiently.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED required; vocational medical office training preferred.
Preferred 1 year medical office or hospital experience including eligibility/benefit analysis.
Certification as Medical Assistant (CMA) may be required for some positions.

Mansioni

Handle centralized scheduling, insurance verification and billing tasks.
Assist with patient registration and accurate data entry in hospital records.
Explain compliance forms and obtain patient signatures for regulatory needs.
Coordinate with physicians and staff for diagnoses, authorizations and referrals.
Process accounts receivable, notifications and payment postings as appropriate.
