Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedules, registers, initiates pre-authorization and referrals process, confirms and maintains patient diagnostic appointments, surgeries and/or medical procedures.
• Obtains required patient demographic and insurance information for McLaren Health, governmental requirements, billing and third-party payer needs.
• Provides courteous and efficient services, documents patient preregistration information and collects demographic/financial data.
• Performs real-time insurance verification and informs patients of insurance requirements.
