Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year-related work experience preferred.
• Clerical, communication, customer service, and confidentiality skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and schedule future appointments.
• Verify demographics and ensure check-in procedures are completed.
• Read and interpret insurance responses and assign primary/secondary/tertiary insurance.
• Communicate financial obligations and collect fees at time of service.
• Assist with referrals, pre-certifications, and recall lists.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and patient rights.
• Process multi-channel messages regarding appointments, referrals, prescriptions, and complaints.
