Qualifications

• 1 year in healthcare field with knowledge of medical terminology or scheduling/registration experience.
• 2 years in healthcare including scheduling/registration experience.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; answer calls and direct information.
• Assist with imaging support duties; generate reports and retrieve PACS images.
• Schedule procedures and manage patient appointments; track no-shows.
• Perform patient registration and data entry; obtain authorizations as needed.
• Obtain insurance authorization and collect co-pays; handle deposits and billing.
• Maintain patient charts and communicate with physicians' offices; ensure chart accuracy.
• Maintain office supplies and perform other duties as assigned.
