Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with computer tools including MS Office; Epic experience preferred.
• Healthcare customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors courteously.
• Obtain and verify patient demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Register and schedule patients for appointments and procedures.
• Collect and process co-pays, deductibles, and balances at the time of service.
• Provide information on financial assistance and payment plans.
• Explain and obtain signatures on consent forms and disclosures.
• Provide directions and parking information to patients.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and quality care.
• Document and update patient records in the electronic health system.
• Follow up on pending issues such as prior authorizations and referrals.
