Renown Health is seeking a Registration Specialist to support patient access across admitting sites. The role focuses on gathering accurate demographic, insurance and financial data to facilitate admissions and billing.

Responsibilities include registration, scheduling, order entry, and timely data documentation. You will verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and help patients understand financial obligations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires six months of admitting, medical claims processing, professional office experience and/or customer service experience with financial interaction.
• Experience with Windows Operating systems, SMS InVision, Internet and SMS IMS Document Imaging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule appointments, enter orders and greet/assist patients.
• Gather demographic, insurance and financial information accurately.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as required.
• Explain financial obligations and collect co-pays/coinsurance/deductibles.
• Ensure confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
