Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years of customer service experience, preferably in medical/health care or call center.
• One (1) year of referral management and/or insurance plan identification preferred.
• Medical Terminology Course Certificate preferred.
• Typing at least 20 words per minute with ≤3 errors; passing Customer Service and Spelling tests with ≥80%.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients, staff, and providers via phone, email, and electronic requests.
• Schedule routine and complex appointments for Parkland patients.
• Perform registration tasks and verify patient demographics and third‑party payors.
• Update patient information and ensure documentation standards.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues per department procedures.
