Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking a Receptionist to support patient scheduling and intake in a busy clinic. The role ensures accurate data entry, insurance information, and smooth office operations while handling payments and coordinating with staff.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, current BLS certification, and at least a few months of related experience, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher. Current BLS Certification.
• Minimum of three month’s related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical Terminology is not necessary but preferable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients to be seen in the office with accurate histories and test results.
• Obtain signatures on Condition of Admission forms.
• Gather correct information for proper insurance submission.
• Communicate with staff to maintain smooth daily workflow.
• Receive patient payments or copayments and post transactions.
• Maintain office records, reports, and files.
• Know office policies and available services.
• Be flexible, organized and able to handle stress.
• Treat patients and families with respect and confidentiality.
• Maintain good relations with internal and external contacts.
• Participate in educational programs and annual requirements.
