Job summary

GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Scheduler I to arrange patient appointments for office visits and procedures. You will manage high call volumes, maintain physician schedules, and support registration and financial transactions in a busy medical office.

Qualified candidates have 2–5 years of medical scheduling experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma is required, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of prior medical scheduling preferred.
  • Experience in a medical office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with basic healthcare plan knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patients for office visits and procedures.
  • Assist with high call volume and triage messages.
  • Maintain physicians schedules and coordinate radiology/lab scheduling.
  • Assist in patient registration and financial transactions.
  • Check-in and check-out patients; collect payments.
  • File and scan records in EMR.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
