Job summary

CareMore Health Management Services, LLC is seeking an entry-level Patient Engagement Specialist I to support patient access and scheduling. You will handle calls, verify demographics and insurance, route messages to the care team, and document actions in EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of customer service, call center, healthcare admin support, patient access, or patient engagement experience.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling, data entry, and patient communication standards.
• Ability to follow scripts and escalation guidelines with close guidance.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming patient calls, messages, or requests using approved scripts and service standards.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments per templates and site rules.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance, and contact information in scheduling systems.
• Route clinical questions and care team messages to licensed staff or queues.
• Provide routine information on appointment prep and arrival instructions.
• Document outcomes and scheduling actions accurately in EMR and designated systems.
