Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of office experience in an outpatient clinic or related setting.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and caregivers and assist with check-in/check-out per clinic procedures.
• Manage appointment requests and schedule, confirm, cancel and reschedule using provider guidelines.
• Answer calls and route messages; direct urgent questions to clinical staff as needed.
• Complete and update patient registration and verify demographic information.
• Coordinate with staff to resolve registration and scheduling issues and maintain HIPAA/privacy practices.
• Provide culturally respectful patient service and maintain confidentiality.
