Job summary

Hudson Eye Physicians & Surgeons, a PRISM Vision Group Partner Practice, seeks a Patient Services Representative in Millburn, NJ. Full-time, non-exempt, 7:30am-5pm, with travel between offices.

You will manage patient access, schedule appointments, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and provide financial counseling while maintaining HIPAA standards. Strong communication and customer service are essential.

Experience in healthcare or customer service preferred; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in patient-facing healthcare or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete full registration for appointments with accuracy.
• Verify insurance information and benefits; obtain IDs.
• Provide upfront financial counseling and establish payment plans.
• Explain policies and collect payments according to guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and protect confidential information.
• Train other patient services representatives.
