Job summary

HealthLinc is seeking a Patient Service Representative to check patients in and out, verify insurance, accept payments, and schedule new appointments. This role works closely with other Patient Service Representatives and reports to the Assistant Site Operations Director.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, updating insurance, routing calls, processing payments, and coordinating prescription refills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years healthcare administrative experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and staff in a professional manner.
• Checks patients in/out for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Receives payments, issues receipts, and updates journal.
• Schedules appointments and follows up as needed.
• Routes calls and coordinates with providers on refills.
• Registers new patients and maintains patient information.
• Performs eligibility verifications and maintains PCMH alignment.
