Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium is seeking an entry-level Patient Care Coordination Specialist I in Juneau to support access to care. You’ll register and pre-register patients, verify eligibility, and assist with scheduling across multiple clinics while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in healthcare or customer service, strong data-entry skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, customer service, or admin is preferred.
• Accurate data entry with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patients, providers, and staff via phone, email, or in person.
• Register and pre-register patients with accurate demographics and insurance info.
• Check-in patients and support self-check-in; collect co-pays and forms.
• Schedule and manage appointments across service lines per protocol.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow SEARHC Standards of Service Excellence.
