Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; an Associates degree is preferred.

• Ability to adjust to different schedules and clinics; effective communication and customer service are essential.
• Level II requires at least 3 months of training as a Patient Scheduling Coordinator and completion of Level I competencies.

Responsibilities

• Complete registration forms accurately with signatures, insurance, and billing information.
• Enter patient information into systems accurately and timely.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance at the time of service; balance cash drawer daily.
• Cross-train across all Patient Access functions and support multiple clinics.
