Job summary

WellStone in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Patient Service Representative to serve as the primary front desk contact in our integrated clinic. This role focuses on patient access, scheduling, communication, and clinic flow, with limited clinical support as needed.

You will handle reception, data entry, appointment verification, co-pays, reminders, and documentation, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Strong communication and computer skills are required, with a High School Diploma and prior customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and proficiency with Computer
• Previous Customer Service experience

Responsibilities

• Perform receptionist duties and assist clients and visitors
• Answer the telephone in a timely manner and schedule appointments
• Verify, schedule, and reschedule appointments
• Take messages and route calls to voicemail
• Enter client demographics and co-pay information in the computer
• Balance daily payments and submit to Accounting
• Conduct appointment reminder calls
• Scan documents and fax requested information
• Inform Therapists of client arrival and schedule confirmations
• Attend trainings and staff meetings
• Complete other duties as assigned
