The Orthopaedic Institute in Florida is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to assist patients in scheduling appointments and accessing medical care. You will handle calls quickly and accurately, ensuring an excellent service experience for every patient.

Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, sharing scheduling criteria, and supporting clinic staff. A high school diploma is required, with preference for prior customer service experience and the ability to learn scheduling software.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to learn and use scheduling software effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients in scheduling appointments for new and existing patients.
• Provide accurate information on scheduling criteria to expedite patient prep and arrival.
• Be proactive, listen to customers, and offer alternatives as needed.
• Learn insurance processes including in-network and out-of-network coverages and prior authorizations.
• Support other office staff and assist with clerical tasks as directed.
