You will assist with scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate registrations.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communications in English.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Cash handling and math abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete full registration for appointments with attention to detail.
• Initiate pre-registration and keep demographic/insurance information up to date.
• Verify insurance, benefits, and referrals as needed.
• Verify ID and insurance coverage prior to services.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy standards.
• Facilitate smooth patient flow through the care process.
• Provide information on appointments, payments, and policies.
• Offer upfront financial counseling and arrange payment plans.
• Collect funds per established guidelines.
• Act as liaison for patients, physicians, and staff; resolve issues.
• Notify parties of appointment times, referrals, and authorization requirements.
• Train other patient services representatives.
• Comply with company policies and standards.
