Job summary

Qualifications

• Recent experience in acute care, home health, or provider office.
• Experience working in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Outpatient Center is preferred.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely scheduling of patients and verification of insurance.
• Collaborate with staff to schedule clinical services.
• Perform auditing to support reimbursement documentation.

Skills

Working knowledge of office and clinical technologies

Ability to answer patient questions regarding insurance

Effective phone management

Basic knowledge of health insurance

Education

High School Degree or GED

Associate Degree related to Business (preferred)
