Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a New Patient Coordinator in Boston to manage scheduling and intake for new patients, ensuring high-quality service and seamless care coordination. The role supports callers, triages questions, and routes inquiries to the appropriate care team.

Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, gathering clinical information, and ensuring timely communication while maintaining adherence to procedures and performance standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration or related field preferred.
• Up to 1 year of healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities required.

Mansioni

• Provides administrative support and coordination for all aspects of patient care for new patients, primarily focused on supporting incoming telephone calls.
• Triages issues and answers general questions to resolve requests in real time.
• Completes patient intake for each caller, including those resolved or requiring action by the New Patient Coordinator.
• Responds to emergencies using standard procedures and maintains patient flow.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates resources to support timely care and patient experience.
