Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of Customer Service/Medical experience preferred.
• Experience in insurance verification, patient registration and medical terminology is a plus.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, handling registration, scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and account resolution.
• Manage patient flow from entry to destination to ensure timely and professional services.
• Resolve patient accounts promptly and accurately, coordinating benefits and payer communications as needed.
• Schedule recurring appointments and respond to incoming calls, directing patients and visitors appropriately.
• Support departmental productivity, quality, and safety standards and participate in infection control and safety programs.
