• Greets and checks in/out patients; identifies and resolves patient needs for a superior experience.
• Documents all phone calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedules patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Registers patients by confirming and updating demographic data in the registration system.
• Obtains copies of insurance cards and IDs; may verify COB and prior authorizations.
• Assists patients with forms and payments; educates on financial assistance; processes payments.
