Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Register patients in person or by phone, verify information for proper reimbursement.
• Complete pre-visit planning to ensure smooth patient experience.
• Assign guarantor for each patient.
• Greet and provide courteous customer service to all customers.
• Ensure patients receive disclosures, privacy information, and consent to treat documentation.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits using real-time systems; act on insurer responses.
• Collect payments and refer to financial counseling as needed.
• Use tools to complete accounts in queue.
• Coordinate requests for release of medical information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
