Job summary

Park West Health System is seeking a Patient Access Representative to welcome patients, manage registrations, schedule appointments, and assist with basic billing inquiries. The role requires accurate data entry in the EMR and professional communication with patients and clinical staff.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of front-office experience in healthcare, strong customer service skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of clerical/front-office experience in a medical or dental setting preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and database programs.
• Experience using EMR systems for scheduling and patient registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact by answering calls and greeting patients.
• Accurately enter and update patient demographic, insurance, and scheduling information.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments and send reminders.
• Maintain provider schedules and distribute daily schedules to staff.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries and route complex issues to the billing team.
