Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Service Center Representative who will be the key link between patients and their care team. You will handle patient calls, schedule appointments, verify information, and support portal access with compassion and professionalism.

Daily duties include routing calls, assisting with referrals, and maintaining accurate records. A strong customer-service background in healthcare environments is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred course work in insurance/billing or medical practice education).
• Experience in patient services, medical reception, call/customer service center (medical environment) or other customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients by phone.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Answer questions, route calls appropriately, and relay messages to clinical staff.
• Verify patient registration and insurance information.
• Assist patients with MyChart and other patient portal support.
• Support referrals, authorizations, and patient outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Partner with providers and office teams to create a seamless patient experience.
