Qualifications

• Two years of customer engagement experience in a service role.
• Healthcare experience in medical records, scheduling, referrals, and registration preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within expected timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, updates and verifies registration and insurance information in the EMR.
• Explains insurance eligibility, co-pays, and financial responsibilities.
• Schedules appointments and assists with referrals.
• Maintains confidentiality of medical records and PHI; HIPAA compliance awareness.
• Gathers data for provider access audits and KPI reporting.
