NorthBay Health is seeking a Medical Assistant I / Patient Services Representative to deliver front- and back-office support in ambulatory practices. You will manage reception, scheduling, insurance verification and medical records, while also assisting with direct patient care under physician supervision.

The role requires two years in customer-focused roles, medication administration experience, and proficiency with healthcare processes.

Formación

• Two years of customer engagement experience and/or a service-centered role required.
• Previous experience with medication administration required.
• Experience with medical record processes, appointment scheduling, referral and authorization processes, registration processes, and back-office clinical support preferred; ambulatory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and within expected timeframes.
• Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicare, Managed Care, Indemnity, and Workers' Compensation insurance types.
• Impact of registration on claims processing, reimbursement and safe patient care.
