Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients, checks them in and completes registration including demographics, insurance, and service payments.
• Verifies insurance, obtains authorizations, and signs consent/waiver forms as needed.
• Scans pertinent information into the patient record.
• Answers calls/messages/faxes and routes to appropriate departments.
• Maintains computer appointment scheduling per office policies.
• Coordinates nurse, physician, and patient time to expedite care and directs patients to ancillary services.
