Avera Obstetrics & Gynecology Aberdeen is seeking a part-time Clinic Front Desk role to support patient access and registration. The position is based in the Aberdeen clinic, with hours Monday through Thursday 8 am–4:30 pm and Friday 8 am–12 pm.

The role involves welcoming patients, handling registrations, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with nursing and physician teams to ensure timely care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or related experience.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with patients.
• Experience with insurance verifications and registrations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients and complete registration, including demographics, insurance, and payments.
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and secure signed forms as needed.
• Scan relevant information into the patient record.
• Answer calls, messages, and faxes and route as needed.
• Manage computer-based appointment scheduling and follow clinic policies.
• Coordinate with nurses and physicians to expedite patient care and direct patients to services.
