Job summary

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and benefits; initiate authorizations.
• Complete registration in HIS systems and schedule appointments.
• Determine payer liability and check medical necessity.
• Post daily point-of-service payments and resolve patient balances.
• Train and mentor other Patient Access staff.
