UVA Community Health is seeking a Patient Services Coord III to join our outpatient clinic team. The role supports patient scheduling, eligibility verification, and coordination of pre-authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications in collaboration with physician offices and administrative departments.

The position is full-time, daytime hours (8a-5p) in Virginia, with responsibilities spanning patient intake, appointment coordination, and ensuring smooth clinical operations and patient

Competenze

• Background of insurance knowledge for certain tasks assigned.
• Ability to comprehend insurance cards and benefit details.
• Ability to deal professionally with the public.

Mansioni

• Schedules and registers patients for the outpatient clinic.
• Verifies eligibility for patients and ensures pre-authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications are obtained.
• Collaborates with physician offices, Utilization Review and Business Office departments.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
