Job summary

Raleigh Radiology is seeking a Patient Coordinator in Raleigh, NC to act as a professional liaison between patients and families and ensure all registration steps are completed prior to exams.

You will greet and check in patients, collect demographic, billing, and insurance information, schedule appointments, explain forms, and answer calls. The role requires a High School diploma and 6+ months of healthcare experience; valid driver's license is needed. Monday-Friday work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 1 year of healthcare environment experience
• 6+ months of medical insurance experience- coverage, payments; hospital/doctor’s office experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License required

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients
• Communicate with patients and staff to schedule appointments
• Collect and enter demographic, clinical, billing, and insurance information
• Determine and accept required payments including co-pays and deductibles
• Explain processes and forms prior to signing and ensure documents are properly signed
• Ensure each account is registered accurately and completed before final billing
• Answer and triage incoming calls to route to appropriate personnel
• Schedule and order entry duties as assigned
