Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix seeks a Registration & Scheduler to serve as first point of contact. This full-time role supports Deer Valley Cardiac Rehab in the Deer Valley Medical Office Building, coordinates patient intake, scheduling, and data entry.

You will handle registrations, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and communicate with physicians' offices. Requires a High School Diploma and healthcare exposure; Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

BLS preferred; day shift, Monday–Friday 8:30-5:00.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in healthcare field or scheduling/registration experience.
• Preferred 2 years in healthcare-related experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and manage calls.
• Register patients and collect/verify information.
• Schedule procedures and track no-shows.
• Coordinate with physicians and medical records.
• Process payments and deposits.
• Maintain patient charts and HIPAA compliance.
