Job summary

You will welcome patients, help with check-in/check-out, and coordinate appointments in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role emphasizes accuracy in entering patient demographics and insurance data, maintaining records in the EMR, and assisting families with questions while protecting patient privacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and maintain patient information.
• Comfort using computers and learning scheduling and electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a friendly and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out.
• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Accurately enter and update patient demographics, insurance, and registration information.
• Verify insurance information and collect required payments when applicable.
• Answer incoming calls, assist patients with questions, and route messages to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR and support daily clinic operations.
