Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Patient Access Manager to lead Patient Access Services across inpatient, ED, outpatient registration, and POS collections. You will supervise daily operations, ensure staffing, and collaborate with physician offices to optimize reimbursement and patient experience.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of five years in Revenue Cycle Operations, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant equivalent HMH experience.
• Minimum 5 years prior experience in Revenue Cycle Operations.
• Advanced knowledge of health insurance industry, managed care issues, revenue cycle, and hospital IT systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• OverseesPatient Access Services including Inpatient, ED, Outpatient Registration, Bed Planning, Concierge Program, and POS collection.
• Ensures staffing levels and positive work atmosphere; acts as role model.
• Coordinates with physicians offices and hospital departments to improve performance and ensure timely reimbursement.
• Leads training and implementation of updated departmental processes to improve patient outcomes and reimbursement.
