ECU Health is seeking a patient access representative to register patients and interpret insurance benefits in a busy healthcare setting in North Carolina. You will assist patients with check-in, verify demographics, and provide clear information on coverage and costs.
The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to navigate payer regulations. Day shifts with full-time schedule; previous registration/billing experience is preferred.
Performs patient registration. Provides insurance benefits interpretation and counseling. Maintains medical terminology skills and knowledge of third party payer regulations. Performs patient and customer relations. Completes other duties as assigned.
