Job summary

ECU Health Physicians is seeking a patient registration professional in eastern North Carolina. You will interpret insurance benefits and counsel patients, maintain medical terminology skills, and handle third party payer regulations while providing excellent patient and customer relations.

This full-time role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities, with 1–2 years of relevant registration or billing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of Customer Service experience required.
• 1–2 years of Registration and/or Billing experience in healthcare preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, detail orientation, organization and multitasking skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
