Baptist Health (Jacksonville) is seeking an experienced Patient Access Registrar to register patients accurately and efficiently, utilizing multiple systems and interfaces. The role involves cross-training to work across various patient access areas and maintaining service excellence for both in-person and telephone encounters.

The candidate should have familiarity with state and federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO, with a strong commitment to patient privacy under HIPAA

Qualificações

• High School diploma required.
• Insurance, healthcare, and customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EMTALA, AHCA and JCAHO compliance.

Registers patients accurately and efficiently Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.) Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
