Baptist Clay is seeking a Patient Access Representative II to join our Patient access team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity.

The role supports accurate patient registration, multi-system utilization, and privacy compliance in line with EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO standards. PRN schedule implies as-needed shifts across patient access areas with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required.
• 1-2 years Healthcare experience Required.
• 1-2 years Insurance experience Required.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients accurately and efficiently.
• Utilizes multiple systems and interfaces.
• Cross-trained to work in multiple patient access areas.
• Maintains service excellence for face-to-face and telephonic encounters.
• Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.).
• Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO.
• Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members.
• Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms.
• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
