Baptist ED St. John's is hiring a Patient Access Representative II to join our patient access team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time opportunity with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 6:45am to 7:15pm.

The role requires 1-2 years of customer service experience, with healthcare and insurance experience preferred. The ideal candidate will register patients accurately, navigate multiple systems, and maintain HIPAA-compliant privacy and consent processes.

Patient Access Representative II, Job Responsibilities:

• Registers patients accurately and efficiently
• Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces
• Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
• Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
• Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)
• Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
• Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
• Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Experience Requirements:
