Baptist Silverleaf in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Part-Time Patient Access Representative II to join our patient access team. This role covers Saturday/Sunday 6:45 pm–7:15 am and centers on accurate patient registration, multi-system navigation, and cross-training to support multiple access areas.

• Registers patients accurately and efficiently
• Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces

• Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
• Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)
• Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
• Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
• Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
