Job summary

Baptist Health in Nassau - Main Building is seeking a patient access professional to register patients accurately and efficiently, using multiple systems across front-line operations.

You will work in multiple patient access areas, maintain HIPAA privacy, and ensure compliant documentation while contributing to annual PAS goals and adherence to EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients accurately and efficiently
• Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces
• Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
• Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
• Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)
• Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
• Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
• Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
