Job summary

Kenosha Community Health Center in Silver Lake is seeking a Patient Access Representative I to provide a welcoming, patient-centered service experience. You will manage check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and intake handoffs with the clinic team.

Open 32-40 hours weekly, you will work with the EHR, collect copays, verify demographics, and coordinate appointments while maintaining HIPAA guidelines. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and PSLF eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Six to twelve months of related experience preferred.
• Customer Service experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Prior experience with using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule or cancel patient appointments according to guidelines.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information in the EHR.
• Check-in/check-out duties including collecting copays and balances.
• Coordinate handoff to Intake RN and communicate with care team.
• Ensure appointment confirmations via Care Messaging, MyChart, or direct patient contact.
