• Collectand accurately input into the hospital registration system.
• Obtainsignatures on all appropriate forms and issueall required notices to the patient or appropriate family member.
• Verifyinsurance, identifycertification requirements, and obtainthem when necessary. Notifyappropriate supervisory personnel if patient present for services and authorization is required but not on file.
• Calculateestimated amount due and request payment using the hospital approved scripts.
• Accurately and thoroughly documentpertinent events regarding the handling of the account, including researching prior accounts.

Education:

Experience:
