Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Clinic in Pensacola, FL is hiring for a Diagnostic Imaging scheduling role. The position is full-time with day shifts, focused on coordinating procedures, patient intake, and payer requirements.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of medical terminology experience, with preference for surgical scheduling exposure. Benefits include health coverage and tuition support.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Efficiently utilize patient and clinical time when scheduling.


• Assist with pre-certification/authorization and counsel patients on pre-service requirements and instructions.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• At least one year of experience in Medical Terminology.


• At least one year of experience in Optional Surgical scheduling.
