Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Patient Care Tech for a day shift in Pensacola, FL. You will assist with patient movement, daily living activities, and document changes in condition for nursing staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean rooms and equipment, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality care. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of relevant experience, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• 1-3 years Patient care tech experience in a hospital setting.
