Job summary

Texas Spine Consultants in Addison, Texas seeks a part-time Patient Access Specialist. You will handle check-in/out, scheduling, HIPAA compliance, and patient service in a collaborative, supportive team.

The role offers a flexible three-day-a-week schedule and a culture focused on teamwork, fairness, and exceptional patient care. Training across all patient access functions is provided.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of healthcare front desk experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Must have 1-2 years of healthcare front desk experience.

Responsibilities

• Has to train in all areas: Check in/out, Chart Auditing, Call Center functions.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients by listening and appropriately serving patients.
• Contributes to an overall positive work atmosphere through actions and attitude.
• Relays relevant information to the appropriate internal staff.
• Follows practice procedures for appointment entry, check-in and/or check-out processes.
• Participates in office meetings and educational activities.
• Maintains work area in neat and orderly manner.
• Complies with HIPAA procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma, or general education degree (GED), or one to three months relates experience, and/or training or equivalent combination or education and experience.

Must have 1-2 years of healthcare front desk experience.
